Computer Assisted Education

  Patient education has been shown to positively affect outcomes of chronic health conditions. We developed an authoring tool (CO-ED) implemented as a universal development platform for interactive computer-assisted patient education. Interactive, self-paced education provided by CO-ED is tailored to patient specific characteristics and utilizes main concepts of Social Cognitive Theory. CO-ED can be used for rapid development of interactive multimedia education programs for multiple health-related topics and can be implemented using a variety of information delivery modalities including Web-based ,palmtop-based, desktop-based or mobile phone-based technologies.  Click on the links below to view our curriculums.
